Australia
Aussie! Aussie! Aussie! Oi! Oi! Oi!
Hii friends! Thank you for following my Australia Trip, for my safety and for keeping up with all my activities, this page will be updated one or two days behind. I cannot wait to tell you all about my trip, show you some amazing photos and what I learned along the way.
I also want to give a couple shout outs: Sarah at Fine Tours Group for planning such an incredible trip for me. I could not have done this without you. Carrie, my friend and financial advisor, thank you for motivating me to document and keep people up to date on my trip in a fun way! Keira, thank you for the invite, friendship, and the finally push to get me to take a huge leap of faith in myself to travel half way around the world, to a place I always wanted to see.

All doodles were found on Pinterest- not my art. My goal is to draw things while I am there.

Week Before- Blog Intro
G'day Mates!
Thank you for diving into my cringe and enjoying reading about the little things that I am doing and learning along the way. I am officially one week out from toes on the ground in Australia! As a reminder, I will be posting two days behind to give myself some time to write and draw. Thank you so being apart of my journey!
Home to Sydney-Travel:
Travel was off to a different start than I was expecting, but alas we are off! Although it is a long travel journey I got some great advice on how to snack, stay sane, and what to bring from a friend (Hi Clarkie!). These flights were honestly the most daunting part of the trip... see the blog post here about how traveling went! Down under here I come!
Jervis Bay National Park
I got to drive through Royal National Park, and stay at such a beautiful spot, no spoilers!! What a lovely area, full of wild life and you finally get to see my stay! I’ve been so fortunate to be able to see incredible animals and trees. Check out where I stayed in Jervis Bay and where I’m headed off to next!
Batemans Bay/Mossy Creek
Well as many of you know I tend to sometimes get lost, luckily this was lost in a national park! I went to go check out this amazing spot and realized that it was an hour long hike. It ended up switching around my day but I was so grateful to find my way to another national park! I missed out on some fossils, and some aboriginal artifacts but I’ll be sure to see some on the road. Lets see what I did end up seeing though shall we?
Boardwater Kayak Adventure
Today challenged me in so many ways. It challenged the way I navigate stressful situations, see people, help people, and honestly the kindness that I was shown helps remind me that there are great people in the world and finding them has been something I seem to be really good at doing.
Myrtleford
The day is finally here, I got to see Keira, her home town and so much in-between! She took me out to eat at one of the most lovely places I have ever been to, we got to see some animals, then went for a great hike. It is so nice to be back with a friend who always makes it feel like you can be yourself around them.
Post Wedding & Ballrat
Post wedding blues, all the fun is over, clean up and a good phat nap! Keira and I's last day together was so wonderful and it is always so hard to say goodbye. I know it will be a see you soon though. I'll have to come back here due to her boundaries (lol I get them, I would feel the same way) and I will be back soon. I love it here. Ballrat was very fun for the evening I spent there. There was a protest going on to protect the LGBTQ Community and anti-racism. It felt like Milwaukee, lots of good food, too. The streets gave Europe with copestone car parks and older buildings.
Melbourne & Sydney
I had a quick little run in Geelong, Melbourne and Sydney. Funny enough, I had another issue with my scheduling. Bless my heart for needing to be reminded to SLOW DOWN and honestly to look into the little details a bit more. I think in general I am moving so quickly that I tend to forget how important the little things are. They are so important, not only in travel but in life as well.
