Good morning friends,

The day finally came!!! I am back with my favorite Aussie, Keira!!

The morning was lovely, had a quick brekky and headed to Myrt! Made pretty good time for the 4 hours that the trip was. I finished the Kosciuszko National Park drive. Saw a wild dog running, and truly has a beautiful hour drive throughout the park.

Then I went through some beautiful mountains, and walked on a little path to stretch my legs a bit.

Then I finalllllyyyyyy got to see the beautiful town that I’ve heard so much about over the years. I believe Keira and I met in 2018. That feels so long ago now. She’s truly one of the best people. I really felt like we haven’t missed a day since we last saw each other, obviously we had a lot to catch up on of the day to day that we’ve missed since we last saw each other but outside of that, not a minute.

It is really nice to see her and feel like my true self again too. Last time I saw her I definitely was going through some things and felt like I wasn’t able to be fully present (in my mind) and got wrapped up in my own issues. It’s so nice now to be whole back within myself and feel that safe space with her to be my authentic self.

She and I had some wild times together in college and whenever you have friends who you’ve had for a while you get to experience so many phases of life together.

It’s been a little over a year now since another great friend of mine got married and her and I are the same way. We’ve lived through so many phases together and we have come out through it all still being friends. Those are the friendships worth fighting for, the people who really know you for your flaws, your successes, and choose to love you anyway. (Hi Hannah!)

Not all friends come into your life and are meant to be there forever, the reason, the season or the lifetime. I am grateful for the friendships I’ve had that have lasted longer than seasons and I hope are meant for lifetimes.

Keira took me out to this beautiful lunch spot, we saw some animals, deer, emu, ostrich (not native to Australia but a wacky bird) ducks and goats! Then we went to see a waterfall, then took a long drive up the mountain, caught up, talked about the differences in our health care systems and all the things.

We got to the mountain top and the views. Incredible.

When you can see the world from that high up you really remember how small we all are. Take chances, make mistakes and remember to always check in on your friends. People are the reason life is worth it. Exploring the world keeps us all entertained. I really feel like I have my priorities and purpose pretty set. I know who I am (no day is perfect) and I know what I’m meant to do. Now I just have to get out there and make my impact.

My apologies for the rapid postings, had to catch up and write while I have time. I love you all, please give Winston a boop before you head out, thank you!

Go do something outside today, even if it’s just sitting in the sun for 45 seconds. I love you all!
