Thank you again to my amazing Aussie family for everything! I could not have be more grateful to them. With everywhere I have traveled solo, I have found really great people and I am so fortunate to have found them. (hi to those of who you are following along & met me while traveling!)

I got an earlier start today as well, with having the delay due to my human error of yesterday, I did not get a chance to see the whales at all. So I headed into town and spotted quite a couple with some other viewers. They would breach, slap their tails, wave, everything about it was cute. They take their time with moving and really are beautiful, and massive creatures.

I stopped at my stay to get a bit of work done and try to write and catch up a bit. I made another friend, Mochi.

I headed into the country to the highest point in Australia! Mount Kosciusko, I did not do a full hike up the mountain due to time, and wanting to be sure that I ended my hike before the sun set. It was also a 2 hour hike straight up hill and honestly I could not do that.

I had honestly such an incredible experience up there. I have been leaving little fairy rocks/crystals that my mom and my sister gave me for this trip and I put some things to rest with the stones this time.

I sat down and had a good cry. It was such an emotionally heavy day yesterday, pulled into today and I needed to let it out. It has been quite a long time since I have had a good cry.

All the hurt, sadness, anger, frustration, and exhaustion that I had been experiencing came to the front and the flood gates opened. I told myself that all of those things I laid to rest, I cut the cords from, and said goodbye to, will stay on that mountain.

Then I told the mountain what I wanted. What I was hoping to gain from this trip and to remind me to slow down and give into surrender. Nate and Liz had really helpful things to say to me today so I took those into consideration and really focused in on what would make me happy.

To not settle, to find the people who are meant to be in my life and that I am full of love, joy and no one can take that away from me unless I let them.

I went back to the park and watched the sunset, grabbed some snacks and went to bed early.
